Plagiarism Policy
Articles submitted to the Peradaban Journal of Law and Society must be original, unpublished, and not pending publication elsewhere. Any material taken from other sources needs to be clearly identified from the original text which is different from the use of quotation marks, and the source has been identified.
Peradaban Journal editors have access to a plagiarism detection software which identifies professional plagiarism and other forms of scholarly misconduct.
All submitted papers will be checked for equality with Turnitin. The editor will check the level of similarity of the paper and will take action according to the level of plagiarism detected.
Articles with Similarity Index above 25% will be rejected.
Articles with Similarity Index (15-25%) will be suggested for revision.
Articles with a similarity index of less than 10% will be accepted with editor-suggested revisions.
